The Jeep TJ comes in 3 models the SE, SPORT, and SAHARA, the only main difference would be the engine with SE having 2.5L 4 cylinder, and the SPORT and SAHARA equipped with a 4.0L 6 cylinder engine. In my opinion get the TJ with the 6 cylinder, the 4 cylinder would have good fuel economy, but makes no difference to me, plus with a 181 HP from the 6 cylinder, you'll have more than enough power to do anything, well almost anything!

So look around and hopefully it might make you consider buying a JEEP! Another TJ might be in the works, I'll have to see if Jeep will have a newer design...here's my wish list:

It'll look close to this!

200X Jeep TJ Sahara Edition

My Jeep

The year the new model was being introduced, I was going to purchase a YJ, but once I heard the new TJ was coming out I decided to wait, and I am glad I did. I ordered my Jeep TJ Sahara in the winter of 1997, the Sport model was nice, but with a cool looking interior (moss green/tan) in the Sahara and most of the options on the Sport were standard on the Sahara, the logical choice for me was the Sahara.

The Jeep TJ I found looked more civilized, but still retained it's off road abilities, but in better comfort and style. I have kept the Jeep pretty much stock for the past couple of years, and just lately have been doing changes to it. It wasn't till after the Jamboree I knew I needed a lift & bigger tires!
